Additional Project Info :
ASYCUDAWorld (AW) is fully operational in the Albanian Customs Administration (ACA) headquarters (HQ) and all Customs offices (see ASYCUDA Implementation Map below).
The ACA AW system was implemented by the ACA Project Team, supported by UNCTAD/ASYCUDA Advisers, with an average speed of 2 (two) Customs sites/week.

In all computerised customs offices,
- 100% declarations are processed through the ACA AW system;
- All declarations are submitted to ACA in electronic format (100% DTI, Direct Trader Input)
- All customs regimes are implemented, including Transit and Warehousing
- ACA AW Risk-management is operational at national level, including the automatic allocation (by the ACA AW system) of the Customs officers for physical inspection (a strong anti-corruption measure)
- Electronic payments are operational nationwide with 12 (twelve) commercial banks;
- Updates of reference data (tariff etc) made in the ACA HQ are automatically available in all Customs offices (effective tool to apply the law nationwide in a consistent and effective manner)
- All customs declarations are automatically consolidated in the Customs HQ database and subsequenly used to produce real-time accurate statistics.

A fully integrated AW EMCS (Excises Management & Control System) is operational in ACA since 2011.
